The August 17th Lincoln Day Dinner at Hammock Beach Resort welcomed U.S. Senator John Cornyn to Flagler County.

Republicans from across the state headed to Flagler County for last minute campaigning including Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam who wowed the crowed with a surprise stop on the first day of his “Florida First Bus Tour”.

Senator Cornyn gave the audience reason to smile as the Big Don, Big John video played before reminding Republicans about the critical nature of the 2018 mid-terms. Other guest speakers included emcee Florida Representative Paul Renner, Florida Senator Travis Hutson and Florida National Committeeman Peter Feaman, author of the Backhoe Chronicles, who drew chuckles from the crowd with this sharp wit and humor.

The evening saw longtime Republican supporters Fanny Herrera and Alfred Ruiz recognized with the Frank Meeker awards in honor of Republican advocate, former Palm Coast City Councilman and County Commissioner Frank Meeker.
